Law Society visits Lawyers in Schools Friday, 16th January 2015
On Thursday, we were delighted to have Jonathan Smithers, vice-president of the Law Society join Haverstock School and lawyers from Olswang and Blackstone Chambers for a session on Human Rights.
The Law Society have been long term supporters of the Citizenship Foundation, so it was brilliant for them to see first hand the great work they are helping make possible.
Jonathan Smithers recognised the importance of Lawyers in Schools in saying that:
'Our lives are continually shaped by the law and it is more important than ever that young people are taught about their rights and responsibilities and how the law works'.
