EU Law workshop gets students ready for the referendum Monday, 20th June 2016
Allen & Ovary lawyers volunteered their morning to facilitate an exciting two hour session on EU law. It was an eye-opening experience for students and lawyers alike as they participated in activities ranging from plotting EU countries on a map to debating EU Directives.
‘My favourite thing that I learnt today was about the Schengen Agreement and how EU citizens don’t need a passport to travel between countries in the EU.’ – Student, Raines Foundation
‘It was surprising to learn that there is free university education in some EU countries’. – Student, Raines Foundation
Thank you Allen & Ovary for hosting such a successful event and the lawyers who gave up their morning to support the workshop!
